Wood Street

710119, London Overground from Chingford to Liverpool Street, departing from the decidedly shabby Wood Street station, at 14.47 on Saturday, 5th October 2024. This station was opened by the GER in 1873, its original wooden platform canopies were replaced a century later (another savage act of legalised vandalism) in what the old BR regime described as "improvements".
