Southport
Picture taken on a Steamport Southport open day in 1982, with static exhibits in Southport station, formerly known as Southport Chapel Street. One of the exhibits was Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 44806 which at that time was named Magpie after the TV show of the same name. There was a regular programme of joint BR and Steamport events in Southport station for several years. See image 41410 at a similar one in 1979.
