507001 and 507023 stabled in the Wall Siding at Southport on 2nd November 2024, ahead of working the 'Sefton Sparkler' railtour the following day. 507001 is going into preservation in Wales eventually but it has been announced that it is first to go into warm storage at Derby before taking part in the Rail 200 celebrations in 2025.
