Lydgate Viaduct

Viewed from the top floor of Robinwood Mill, during a private visit by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Society, 195103 rolls over Lydgate Viaduct towards Kitson Wood Tunnel with an empty stock working from Blackpool North to Leeds on 12th October 2024. It was interesting to see that the skew arch, normally in line with a watercourse, crosses a minor road while the Redmires Water passes under the next arch. Was the stream diverted via a local mill at some point after the viaduct was constructed?
