Craiglockhart Junction

Re-signalling at Portobello on 6th September 1973 resulted in southbound workings running via Haymarket, Niddrie West and the direct line via Wanton Walls to reach the ECML. From memory, 1E07 was the 11.00 Edinburgh - Kings Cross and is approaching Craiglockhart Junction. Just beyond the rear of the train is the bridge which carried the line from Slateford into Princes Street station and to the left the connection opened in 1961 linking Millerhill Yard to the former CR lines.
