47812 at rear of The Railway Touring Company's Armistice Day excursion from London Victoria, that arrived here at Canterbury West at 11.47, now being hauled away from the station by Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 no. 44871, for the train to clear the points and then reverse onto a siding to stable while passengers enjoy a two hours' lunchtime break in the city, at 11.55 on Monday, 11th November 2024. The weather, thankfully, was somewhat better after more than a week of grey, damp, murky days but still quite cold.
