Haggerston

Haggerston station opened in April 2010, with the partial reopening of the former North London Railway's Broad Street viaduct, closed in 1986, for the London Overground with a new link to the former London Underground East London Line. It is a short distance north of the original NLR's Haggerston station which closed in May 1940 after severe WWII bomb damage and never reopened. The northbound platform is seen here from 378209 arriving with a London Overground service from Highbury & Islington to Crystal Palace at 11.32 on Saturday, 23rd November 2024.
