Duns

Duns was a through station on the line from Reston to St. Boswells, until the line was severed to the west of here by the 1948 floods and it became a terminus again. A sparse service of trains running to and from Berwick continued for a further three years and then it became freight only until 1966. This is the old station building on the former eastbound platform, now much modified but still recognisable, on 18th November 2024.
