Southport
Steamport open day, with static exhibits on show in the old L&YR motive power depot, in September 1982. On the right is Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST 'Efficient', which worked at McKechnie Bro's copper smelting works in Widnes and moved to Southport in 1973 when the works closed. On the left is Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0 'Waleswood' No.750 both of these locos were moved to Preston when Steamport closed.
