This bridge crossed the Crieff-Perth line at Moss-side, west of Madderty station. It survives, but the cutting between here and the station has been largely infilled. This cutting was known as the 'Abbey Cut' (the site of the ruins of Inchaffray Abbey was to the north) and was crossed by a slender curved metal bridge giving access to a manse. The bridge was demolished after closure. 'Abbey Bridge', the next bridge before Madderty station, has also been removed and was similar to the one seen here except on a skew. The cutting was probably the most expensive part of the line to built, but its depth was modest compared with many on other lines.
