Flixton
Rising now at 1:135 towards the Manchester Ship Canal, this 4-car EMR Class 158 has just passed through Flixton, with a Norwich to Liverpool service on 5th February 2025. It will cross the canal on the 75' high bridge that can be seen in the distance. The CLC line between Flixton and Irlam was diverted from its original route in 1893 to climb over the then new canal.
