Shaw and Crompton [Tram]

The first Class 3000 tram, 3001, was delivered to Metrolink by Bombardier in 2009. On 12th February 2025 it terminated in the bay platform at Shaw & Crompton before heading back towards Manchester. The tram stop here is on the opposite side of the level crossing to the old railway station. This bay allows the basic 12 minute interval service from Rochdale to increase to 6 minute interval trams from Shaw and Oldham.
