45144 at Respryn Bridge, near Bodmin Road, with the 1345hrs Penzance to Bristol service on 3rd October 1983. A lovely radio mast has grown in the field by the bridge here in more recent times, ruining the standard picture. Always best as a morning location before the sun moved around. On this day the sun was behind a cloud as otherwise it would be straight into the lens. Peaks worked into Cornwall from 1970 to late 1985 and were very much part of the local motive power scene.
