Auchmacoy

These stone abutments supported a bridge that carried the Boddam branch over what is now the A90 main road, just to the south west of Auchmacoy station. The Boddam line last carried passengers in 1932, and the last goods train in 1948, and at some point after closure the road was widened and straightened and now cuts through the branch formation a short distance to the south west of here with the old section of road abandoned.
