After nearly sixty years service, thirty eight of them operating from Ramsey, mainly to Glasson Dock, the well-maintained 'Silver River' general cargo vessel 91418 is offered for sale and her replacement, the 'Snaefell River' is now in service. A mere stripling at only thirty six years of age the 'new' vessel had arrived on the high tide at the NAABSA berth on the outer quay at Glasson on 27th April 2025. She has operated recently as the 'Leila' and the 'CEG Orbit' around European ports and rivers and in terms of deadweight is over three times heavier than Silver River.
