Glasson Dock
Although the swing bridge at Glasson only operates occasionally, it sits directly above the lock linking the canal basin (off picture right) with the tidal dock. Consequently, when a boat is using the lock the road which links the two sides of the village is closed for between 30 and 60 minutes. This view looks north on 1st March 2025, when two seagoing vessels were locking down to catch the high tide.
