Ystrad Mynach
50031 'Hood' is at the rear of a hauled service to provide extra capacity due to Rugby at Cardiff in 1999. There were some regular local hauled services to Rhymney for a number of years with various different locomotives provided, especially Class 37s towards the end. As far as I can recall, 50031 had some regular work on this route for a while. In BR days the only 50s seen on any of the valleys routes were on railtours.
