Birkenhead Central
Birkenhead Central, looking towards Liverpool, at 13.02 on Wednesday, 30th April 2025. This station, at one time the Headquarters of the original Mersey Railway, opened on 1st February 1886 with the line from Green Lane, under the Mersey between Hamilton Square and James Street, and is now part of the Merseyrail Wirral Line.
