Arisaig
In the early 1980s, a ScotRail initiative saw an ex-LMS inspection saloon converted into an observation car for use on the Mallaig extension. It is seen here attached to the back of a Mallaig-Fort William service crossing the steam hauled ‘West Highlander’ at Arisaig in August 1984.
