Preston Riverside
View from the cab of 0-6-0DE NS 663, at the boundary gate of the Ribble Steam yard, looking back towards the two road diesel shed on 11th June 2025. The passenger platform is to the left of and behind this building. The diesel shed is in two parts, with that to the rear being used by the Furness Railway Trust. At the time of this evening visit two GWR locos, 4-6-0 4979 'Wootton Hall' and 0-6-2T 5643, were respectively undergoing restoration and repair.
