Cadder Yard: New Inter7City stabling facility under construction at former EGIP electrification depot.
Upton and Innishannon: Upton station together with adjacent The Railway Bar. There was only a single platform here with a signal cabin at the western end of the platform. A goods shed was provided with a loop line running through it.
Longsight: A grubby 66735 'Peterborough United' is nearing the end of its journey from Felixstowe as it comes of the Styal Loop at Slade Lane Junction and passes Longsight Depot heading for Trafford Park. Hidden behind the lineside hut was train 4M21, fully loaded with containers, which had left the east coast port seven hours earlier on 20th March 2021.
Bishopton: A Glasgow bound service, with 314206, approaches Bishopton on 27 April 2017.
Heslerton: Midway between Malton and Seamer the York - Scarborough line passes through the old station at Heslerton. Closed to passengers in 1930 the building is now a well maintained private residence, with an impressive garden. View north east over Station Road in October 2008, with the AHB level crossing on the left.
Bo'ness TMD: DMS 64600 from 314209 on the jacks at Boness for removal of redundant equipment in preparation for the installation of the new hydrogen fuel cell package.
Paisley St James: Fairburn 2-6-4T no 42242 approaching Paisley St James on 16 May 1964 with a Saturday service from Glasgow Central destined for Wemyss Bay.
Cherry Burton: View looking easterly to Etton Road overbridge, across the former York to Beverley line, just north of Cherry Burton village as seen from the Hudson Way Trailway that runs along the unsurfaced former trackbed from Beverley to Market Weighton. A path runs down from the south end of the bridge to access the trackbed west of the bridge. Cherry Burton station closed to passengers in 1959 but trains continued to pass through for a further six years.
Edinburgh Waverley: A bit rich? A grubby-looking HST makes an environmentally-hostile start at Waverley in June 1998.
Coatdyke: A solitary passenger alights from a mid-morning Edinburgh Waverley to Helensburgh Central service at Coatdyke on 18th May 2016. All original buildings have been demolished and replaced by bus stop style waiting shelters. The station was originally opened by the Bathgate & Coatbridge Railway on 1st February 1871.
West Calder: 107040 approaches West Calder in 1991, with an Edinburgh-bound service passing the former goods yard with its sole remaining siding.
Farington Junction: DRS 88005 'Minerva,' on a Daventry to Mossend intermodal service, passes TPE 397011 on an Edinburgh to Manchester Airport service to the south of Farington Junction on 15 March 2021.
