Glasgow Queen Street High Level: Two of the newly converted Active Travel Carriages, 153380 and 153373, seen together in Queen Street on 14th June 2021. Once in normal service they are expected to be coupled to 156 Sprinters on West Highland Line duties.

Lea Road: Future photos submitted from this location may have to be under the name Cottam Parkway, as that new station is now funded and scheduled to be constructed in 2022. Lea Road station itself closed in 1938 and 319366, substituting for a CAF 331 EMU, passes the site on a Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service on 7th June 2021.

Cadder Yard: A view east of the site of the north side yard at Cadder in 1989, a few years after the clearance of most of the yard. The north side 'hump' was behind the camera. A few sidings, in permanent way use, remained on the south side where 26014 can be seen lurking on the right.

Aberdeen: Colas 70813, in Aberdeen station, with the tanks from Aberdeen Waterloo to Irvine paper mill (6B38) on 28th May 2021. The train was waiting for the 14:52 LNER service to depart so it could follow it down the line to Dundee.

Edinburgh Gateway: I am guessing that there is no car park (sorry, 'Car Parking Facilities') at Edinburgh Gateway as Ingliston Park and Ride is deemed to cater for incoming motorists, though the train to town from here is a lot quicker than the tram. This is also the green belt - as you can see - but housing is currently being built on that. Yes, that's what I thought…

Walworth Road: The site of Walworth Road, just south of Elephant & Castle, seen from a Thameslink service to Sutton, on 15th May 2021. This station opened as Camberwell Gate on 1st May 1863 and was renamed in 1865. It was closed as a WWI economy on 3rd April 1916, intended to be only temporary, but it never reopened after 1918.

Girvan (New): Socially-distanced tablet exchange as the 1106 from Stranraer runs in to Girvan ready to go forward as the 1159 to Kilmarnock on 3rd June 2021. The loop is distinctly rusty and services have not been restored to normal yet.

Didcot Parkway: Looking at first glance like yet another Class 66, DB 59205 came racing through Platform 3 at Didcot on 4th June 2019 with a stone empties train from Theale Hanson Sidings to the Whatley Quarries in Somerset.

Rainhill: Plenty of murals on the wall of the Liverpool platform waiting room at Rainhill in 2011, leaving you in no doubt that this was a historically significant station. There were further references and plaques outside too. I hope that some or all of this has been retained despite the subsequent electrification of the L&MR.
