Bay Horse: 67024 brings up the rear of a rake of traditional Pullman coaches, working empty stock from Eastleigh to Hamilton passing Forton behind 67021 on 2nd June 2024. They were scheduled to work a private charter from Waverley the following day.
Inverkeithing: GBRf 66743 draws the 'Royal Scotsman' from Edinburgh to Keith through Inverkeithing on 28 June 2024.
Ayr: The remains of the Station Hotel at Ayr have been sealed up and a 'hairnet' put on them. This was the scene on 28th June 2024. It looks as if the Stranraer and Kilmarnock services, as well as a full service to Glasgow, will be restored soon.

Scorton [Lancashire] [2nd]: Factory recall? Although Avanti is now operating the new hybrid Class 805s in passenger service the electric Class 807s are still test and training running on the WCML. However, on 1st July 2024 807002, still unbranded, ran ECS from Oxley to Darlington via Edinburgh, probably returning to the Hitachi facility. Seen passing Scorton heading north.
Ledcharrie Viaduct: This three arch viaduct carried the C&O over the Ledcharrie Burn east of Luib station.
Shotts: A dreich winter's day at Shotts in January 1976 with a 3-car Metro Cammell DMU passing through the station.
