Severn Tunnel Junction: 46008 departs from Severn Tunnel Junction yard, with a Speedlink service, in September 1980.

Luib: Looking east over the site of Luib station, now the Glen Dochart Holiday Park. The platforms were at the far end on the right and the goods yard spread out on the left. Coming east from Crianlarich the line ran by the River Dochart. From here the line started the climb to Killin Junction and Glenoglehead.

Milford Junction [Yorkshire]: 66732 passing Milford Junction, with a North Blyth to Doncaster coal service, on 30th June 2012. Once a very busy location for freight, it is now dead with the loss of coal traffic.

Little Sutton: Although Little Sutton station enjoys a 30 minute interval service to and from Liverpool, it is unstaffed and the station building is in non-railway use. This roadside view was taken on 8th May 2024.
