Newton for Hyde: 323224 pulls away from Newton-for-Hyde after calling with a Hadfield and Glossop to Manchester Piccadilly service on 30th October 2024. The 15 mile journey takes around 40 minutes so three EMUs can maintain a 30-minute interval service on the line. Class 323s predominate although the newer Class 331s make occasional appearances.
St Margarets Shed: J38 0-6-0 No 65915, with number specially cleaned, is nonetheless adding to the smoky atmosphere at St Margarets Shed on 28 September 1964.
Kirkliston Distillery: Looking into the closed Kirkliston Distillery in 2005. A siding passed through the gate and to the left of the chimney, served by a branch from Kirkliston station. It was worked by two Barclay 0-4-0STs and a Ruston Hornsby diesel over the years until closure of the branch line in 1966.
Saltburn Cliff Lift Lower Station: In a view of the Saltburn Cliff Tramway, taken from the ascending Marske side car, the descending Saltburn side car certainly doesn’t disguise the fact that you’re on a gradient of 1 in 1.4 (71%). Refurbishment work carried out in 2017/18 included the installation of flat bottomed track at 4ft 2.5in gauge fixed to steel girders.
Cotherstone: Cotherstone station which opened in May 1868 was a single platform halt on the old Tees Valley Railway from Barnard Castle to Middleton-in-Teesdale which was built to transport stone from the various quarries at Middleton. The station closed with the line in November 1964 and is now a private residence however much of the line forms the Tees Valley Railway path.

St Peters: A Metro train to South Hylton passes DRS 68002 and 88005, with flasks from Seaton-on-Tees Nuclear to Sellafield, on the bridge between St Peters and Sunderland on 2nd December 2024.
