Timperley [Tram]: A shot taken at Timperley in June 1994 looking towards Altrincham. The Manchester Metrolink system commenced operations in April 1992 and when this image was taken the former BR station buildings were still in use. These T68A trams lasted in service until between 2012 and 2014 when they were all replaced by the current fleet of M5000s.

London Waterloo: The main Waterloo concourse, near platform 18, is busy but not crowded on 22nd December 2024. A nice bit of winter sunlight highlights the area. I first arrived here from Exeter behind D811 during Summer 1971. Oh for a digital camera then, rather then film at ASA25.

North Greenwich [Jubilee]: North Greenwich, LU Jubilee Line, opened in 1999, looking back east, at 11.00 on Saturday, 30th November 2024. A train of LU 1996 stock to Stratford, that I travelled on two stops from Canada Water, is still waiting to depart from behind the screen and the open platform doors.

Brock: The sun is just emerging as Heaton allocated 156472 runs ecs from Preston Carriage Sidings to Lancaster to begin its duties on 13th November 2024. The 156s in the Heaton fleet spend a lot of time on Cumbrian Coast duties, and this unit had worked down the previous evening on the 1909hrs from Carlisle. After another day on the coast it will refuel and stable overnight at Barrow Carriage Sidings.
