Plumstead: The delightful street level building at Plumstead, south-east London, at 14.00 on Saturday, 30th November 2024. The North Kent Line here opened on 30th July 1849 but this station did not open until almost ten years later, on 10th July 1859. The platforms are in a cutting to which lifts have recently been installed to allow step-free access.

Kingsmuir: Ex CR Class 3P 54486 at Kingsmuir, which was the terminus of the line by this date, on 20th May 1961. The train is in the goods yard, which had a short loop. The passenger platform was behind the photographer on the other side of the overbridge. The view looks south.
Monikie: Ex-CR 3P 54486, and preserved Caledonian coaches, on the SLS 'Angus Rail Tour' leaves Monikie in 1961. On the left is a buffer stop, on a headshunt which was at the north end of the station and the south side of the line on which the train is running.
