Eyemouth: This car park now covers the site of Eyemouth station, but at a higher level than the old facility. Landfill has been used to support the car park at road level whereas the station was down at harbour level. See image [[81552]] of the station just before closure in 1962, the church and houses providing reference points between that and the present day picture.

Bolitho Viaduct: Whit Bank Holiday Monday and D1058 is heading west from Ply La depot to Penzance . 1058 has just crossed Cartuther viaduct and is approaching Bolitho Viaduct , the Plymouth side of Liskeard. Looks like i was about to get wet storm clouds approaching . The old lengthmans hut is seen on the right most of these have long been demolished down the far west.

Maryport: On the 23rd December 2024, 156444 had just crossed over onto the northbound line to access the only platform at Maryport station whilst working the 1209 Carlisle to Barrow-in-Furness. Despite once boasting a large station building Maryport has only ever had the one through platform.

Edinburgh Waverley: Snowy scene at Waverley and 37202 with a special four-van parcels train in February 1987. There appears to be a crew change taking place with this train, and the Class 26 in the background.

Bow Depot Junction: This was shot from the original Pudding Mill Lane station [on the Docklands Light], when I worked for Crossrail. It was a really cold Monday in December 2010, and I had just come back from a site visit with the construction team doing early Crossrail diversion works on the City Mill and Waterworks Rivers. One of the team had been shooting that weekend and I was surprised to find a brace of very frozen pheasant on the Heras fence outside the site cabin which had been brought as a Christmas surprise for his boss who was Irish.

Boat of Garten: Black 5 No.5025 northbound out of Boat of Garten with the 'Santa Express' on 6th December 2024.

Tynreoch Viaduct: A view looking along the Tynreoch Viaduct towards the bridge which carried the A85 over the railway - which has been rebuilt.

Craigellachie [2nd]: A wintry scene at Craigellachie, despite it being April 1968, as an Aberdeen via Dufftown working pulls into the Elgin bound platform. The other platform served Speyside and last saw passenger trains in 1965, although the line through to Aviemore was still open for goods traffic, but would close later that year beyond Aberlour.
