Dalry Road: Roseburn-Union Canal active travel route. The new route opened on Monday 2 December contains a bridge across the Carstairs railway and a rebuilding of the platform at Dalry Road.
Dalgety Bay: 37403 'Isle of Mull' leads the 'Bo'ness Christmas Explorer' through Dalgety Bay on 30th December 2024, with 47712 (running as 47709) on the rear.
Glasgow St Enoch: The Stephenson Locomotive Society's 'Renfrew District Tour' prepares to leave Glasgow St Enoch. The tour was hauled by CR type 4.6.0 54634.
Dalgety Bay: 47709 (in reality 47712) brings up the rear of the 'Bo'ness Christmas Explorer' as it passes through Dalgety Bay on its way to Crewe on 30th December 2024. The stock is formed of a push-pull set.
Benton: Benton station, Tyne & Wear Metro, with a traditional style shelter on the platform for trains to St. James via the coast, seen from unit 4033 from St. James to South Shields arriving at 13.41 on Monday, 16th December 2024. The line was opened by the North Eastern Railway on 27th June 1864 but this station did not open until 1st March 1871. It was temporarily closed for conversion into the Metro on 23rd January 1978 and reopened with the Metro's first stage from Haymarket to Tynemouth on 11th August 1980.
Whitrope Siding: Looking south from the modern level crossing, towards the main part of Whitrope Heritage Centre, on 17th November 2024. 26040 is prominent in this view. The weather has taken its toll on the Type 2, which first arrived here in 2016 (See image [[57267]]).
London Waterloo [International]: The concourse at the former Waterloo International on 19th December 2024. The trains are at a higher level .
Crowbandsgate Coal Terminal: 66082 heads 6M06, the 11.16 from New Cumnock to Crewe, on 14th April 2005 as the wagons are loaded at Crowbandsgate Coal Terminal with opencast coal. The terminal opened in 2000 and remained in operation until circa 2015/16.
Tynreoch Viaduct: This aerial view of the Tynreoch Viaduct shows its location compared with the A85. The railway passed under the road immediately after crossing over the River Earn.
