Cardiff Central: 37187 brings the empty stock into Cardiff to form the 1615 departure to Portsmouth Harbour on 19th September 1983. The loco would work the train as far as Bristol Temple Meads. This was a boiler fitted South Wales 37 and thus more common on passenger workings. Not required for haulage by the masses, unlike some of the very rare non-boiler coal machines.

East Ham: Exterior of East Ham station, LU District and Hammersmith & City Lines, seen from passing new electric bus EBD 40 on route 101 from Wanstead to Beckton, on 14th January 2025. This station was originally opened by the LT&SR in 1858 and first served by District Line trains in 1902. It has two disused platforms, closed by BR Eastern Region when the ex-LTSR was electrified in 1962. The LTSR emblem can still be seen on the stanchions supporting the canopies at the surviving LU platforms (see image no. [[77799]] from 2021.

The student flats on the right, and a larger block behind them, are modelled on the quayside factories, once rail served from the Glasson Dock branch, but recently demolished.
