Waterside: A shot thought to date from 1970 of Waterside station looking towards Ayr. Passenger services ended in 1964 with the withdrawal of services from Ayr - Dalmellington.

Newton Heath Train Care Centre: Holts is a well known Manchester Brewery and this is their Railway Hotel at Newton Heath. Bearing in mind that the entrance to the depot at Newton Heath is by the sign on the left of this picture you might have thought they could have had a better pub sign than this American style locomotive.
