Brundall: 31187 passing Brundell witha Great Yarmouth to Norwich service in 1992. A trip to the Norwich - Yarmouth line on Summer saturdays was always good as it was busy with loco hauled services, mostly class 31 and 37 hauled but 47s as well and way back class 25s also worked through to the seaside resort.
Greenford [LPTB]: Elevated Greenford station was the last on the Underground to feature wooden escalators. They were replaced some time ago and there is now a lift, perhaps more of a funicular, that occupies one of the escalator runs and affords level access for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc. This is the view of the platform access from the ticket hall on 11th March 2025.
West Brompton [Metro]: Exterior of West Brompton station, LU District Line, on 17th February 2025. This was opened by the Metropolitan District Railway on 12th April 1869, alongside that on the West London Extension Railway that had opened on 1st September 1866. Complete separation prevailed, however; the idea for a physical connection here to allow LSWR trains to run over the District to Mansion House never happened. The ex-WLER station was closed with the line by the LMSR on 21st October 1940 but the line reopened in 1994 and a new West Brompton station on the site of the old was opened on 1st June 1999.
