Piccadilly Circus [GNPBR]: Memorial to Frank Pick in the sub-surface ticket hall at Piccadilly Circus station, LU Bakerloo and Piccadilly Lines, at 13.36 on Saturday, 29th March 2025.
Dundee: 170432 awaits departure time from Dundee, with the 14.40 to Edinburgh, in March 2025.
Luxulyan Tunnel: 45010 heads down the Luxulyan valley, with empty stock from Newquay to Plymouth Laira, during the evening of 20th May 1978. It is and was very overgrown here and difficult to get a clear shot of the train. 45010 had worked in on the Birmingham to Newquay service.
Farington Junction: Although well into their 30s now, the Hunslet built Class 323s are relative newcomers to services north of Manchester. They have a couple of regular diagrams on Blackpool services in 2025 and 323238 and 323225 passed Farington Junction on 9th April 2025 working from the resort to Manchester Airport. A stile, half way along the lineside public footpath, is very handy for getting above the palisade boundary fence.
Corkerhill Shed: The unique Stephenson Link Black 5 4-6-0 No 44767 is gracing Corkerhill Shed on 16 April 1966. No doubt the shed master will be wondering if he can use it before it heads back south.
Inverkeithing East Junction: LSL's Midland Pullman climbs towards Dalgety Bay, with the 'Lord of the Isles' from Leicester to Inverness, on 26 April 2025.
Letham Bridge South: In the narrows of Glen Farg, where the road, railway and river were very close together, the line passed through a rock cutting on the approach to Glenfarg Viaduct. View looks north. The grounded van seen by Bill Jamieson and David Spaven ten years before still remains here (see image [[43883]]).
Exeter St Davids: 33014 is stabled on stock at Exeter St Davids in December 1975. This was Tony Gale's home station with much time spent here observing the trains and riding around. Sundays were often a good day to get out and get some thousands in the book. (That's Western Class 52 for those that don't know).
