London Waterloo [International]: The former Eurostar terminus at Waterloo, now used by South Western Railway suburban trains, at 15.18 on Thursday, 17th April 2025.

Newburgh [2nd]: A shot, thought to date from 1973, looking west over Newburgh station which had closed to passengers in September 1955. Goods traffic was handled until October 1979 and a 16T mineral wagon can be seen by the loading bank to the right of the station. The signal box closed in 1980 and the loop was removed.

Farington Junction: With a friendly wave from the smartly attired driver, the Midland Pullman HST crosses from the Down Fast at Farington Junction to take the chord to Lostock Hall Junction. This was an excursion from Gerrards Cross to Carlisle via the S&C on 9th April 2025.

Kipps Shed: Highland Railway 4-4-0 No 54398 'Ben Alder' peers out of Kipps Shed on 11 April 1966. Behind it are several of the Scottish Region’s preserved locos. Sadly, Ben Alder was not to join them, as later that day the others were to be moved so that the Ben could be released and make its final journey to the breakers.

Brechin: Brechin station in a shot thought to date from 1971. Passenger services ended at Brechin in August 1952 but goods traffic continued to be handled until May 1981. Since 1993 the Caledonian Railway has operated trains to Bridge of Dun.

Princes Risborough: Even on Saturdays the stone for HS2 continues to be delivered. 60046 approaching Princes Risborough with 6M27, the 0907 from Wembley to Quainton on 5th April 2025. Not the best time of day for a picture when the sun is out here.
