This shed was close to Broadrigg Colliery Junction.
Approaching from the north west the colliery line from Broadrigg Colliery Pit No 3 divided with the approach to Broadrigg Colliery Pit No 4 to the north, then the approach to the shed and to the south the connection to the North Monkland Railway.
The shed still stood after closure of the collieries and lines before 1910.
