Owned by Martyn Bros, this works was located north of Airdrie and served by a short siding from the [[Hallcraig Street Branch (Ballochney Railway) which was on the west side of the works.
The works produced locomotives between 1890 and 1900 using the designs of Dick & Stevenson (owners of the Airdrie Engine Works) which was wound up in 1890.
The site later became a scrap yard.
After complete closure the site was cleared and is now housing.
