Opened on the Lanarkshire and Dumbartonshire Railway.

Description

This siding was on the south side of the Lanarkshire and Dumbartonshire Railway midway between the former Dalmuir Riverside (to the east) and Old Kilpatrick stations. Approach was from the west. The siding was served by trains from Chivas Bros Siding [Keith].

The siding was the last to be served on what became a branch out from Clydebank station, and closed in around February 1988. At the time of closure the line was reduced to a single track, the former westbound line, and didn't even terminate with a buffer stop following tracklifting at Old Kilpatrick.

The partly covered pair of sidings remained on the private site for many years afterwards, but the railway to Clydebank was lifted, leaving only a stub.
