Cockermouth Junction (1865-1964)

Opened on the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway.
Opened on the Cockermouth and Workington Railway.

Description

This was the junction between the Cockermouth and Workington Railway of 1847 and the later Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway of 1865.

Following the opening of the later the original Cockermouth [1st] station became a goods and mineral station on a short branch, replaced by Cockermouth [2nd].
