Description

From 1956 to 1998 this was the Cummins Engine Factory. Part of the site reused a Cotton Mill which was strikingly rebuilt.

The site was rail served on its southern edge by the former Hartwoodhill Colliery Pit Nos 1 and 2 branch of the Shotts Branch (Monkland Railways).
