Kittybrewster Works (1857-1901)Description
The works of the Great North of Scotland Railway was originally at Kittybrewster [2nd] station, on its west side.
Locomotives were built here.
The works site was hemmed in and in order to expand, a new replacement Inverurie Works was built north of the also new Inverurie station at a greenfield site with plenty of room in 1901.
Nothing remains of the works or neighbouring Kittybrewster Shed today.
