/ /1878	Ballymena and Larne Railway Extended west from Ballyclare Junction to Ballymena [Harryville] alongside Ballymena [1st]. Opened to passengers from Larne Harbour to Ballymena.
/ /1932	Larne and Ballyclare Railway Larne to Larne Harbour closed to 3ft gauge trains.
09/09/1961	Belfast and Ballymena Railway Through coaches from Larne Harbour to Londonderry Waterside [2nd] withdrawn. Mossley to Greenisland falls out of passenger use.
/ /1973	Townsend Thoresen Townsend Thoresen commence running from Cairnryan to Larne Harbour.
/ /1985	Carrickfergus and Larne Railway Larne Harbour station replaced Larne Harbour [1st]. The line was slightly cut back.
/ /1987	Townsend Thoresen P&O European Ferries Townsend Thoresen, operator of the Cairnryan to Larne Harbour service amongst others, becomes P&O European Ferries.
/ /1998	P&O European Ferries P&O Irish Sea The Irish Sea operations of P&O European Ferries becomes P&O Irish Sea. The company was the operator of the Cairnryan to Larne Harbour service amongst others.
/ /2001	P&O Irish Sea The Ardrossan Harbour to Larne Harbour service is relocated to Troon Harbour to Larne Harbour.
/ /2010	P&O Irish Sea P&O Ferries P&O Irish Sea, operator of the Cairnryan - Larne Harbour and Troon Harbour - Larne Harbour services amongst others, is merged back into P&O and becomes P&O Ferries.
/09/2015	P&O Ferries Final season of the Troon Harbour to Larne Harbour service. In 2016 it is announced that the service was not profitable and would not re-start.
