This two road locomotive shed was east of Longniddry station. It was on the south side of the line, nearest to the Haddington branch lines and further from the North British Railway main lines. The shed was single road from the east, double from the west. The shed was a sub shed of St Margarets Shed.
A derelict buffer remains to the west of the shed site. The south wall of the shed also survives, looking like a boundary wall at first sight.
