Description

This quay was on the south bank of the River Clyde opposite Finnieston Quay. It was to the west of General Terminus Quay. The quay was a largely used for minerals and had a transit shed. Plantation Quay was to the west. The quay was served by sidings from the General Terminus and Glasgow Harbour Railway, from the east, and the Princes Dock Joint Railway (Caledonian Railway, North British Railway and Glasgow and South Western Railway) to the west.

In 1911 the berths 55, 57, 59, 61 & 63 were dedicated to the mineral trade.

Today the 'Squinty Bridge' crosses the Clyde here.
