The Phoenix Iron Works, the foundry of Thomas Edington & Sons, relocated from Phoenix Iron Works [1st] north over Dobbies Loan in 1890. The former site became Phoenix Park and the company offices relocated to 20 St Vincent Lane.
This part of the works was served by an internal tramway. It was closer to the Forth and Clyde Canal.
