Caledonian MacBrayne - Rothesay
Caledonian MacBrayne operate a ferry service from Rothesay, Island of Bute, to Wemyss Bay on the main land.
A tramway ran to Port Bannatyne and Ettrick Bay.
In 1867 the pier was extended for steamers.
