There was a set of sidings on either side of the Hamilton branch south of Shettleston Junction controlled by this signal box. The box was on the west side of the line.
These sidings were to become a warehouse (on the west side) and a wagon repair shed (on the east side) close to the junction. Both were accessed from the south.
The box closed in 1938.
