Up to 600 jobs in a 2km radius of a proposed HS2 railway station in Nottinghamshire could be relocated. Maintenance depot DB Schenker, yards away from the proposed station, is fighting demolition plans. [From Richard Buckby]

Two Class 20s ease their way out of Toton Yard, crossing the depot access road, prior to joining the main line and heading north. The leading loco is possibly a late substitute as it was very rare to see Toton Type 1s in anything other than nose to nose paired formations. The shed itself is hidden by the train. [See image 7128]
