Garstang and Catterall
The impressive staircase at this house is the give away that it is the former station entrance. The house was once joined onto and is all that survives of a once large junction station that was swept away soon after closure in 1969. It used to be faced in red brick similar to the stairs and retaining wall. Map Ref SD 509439
