Hindley
A thwarted attempt at a 2010 Then and Now comparison with a 1968 picture of Hindley, (See image 27035) due to the lifted fast lines being fenced off and overgrown. The semaphore signals have been replaced by colour lights but these were controlled from the nearby Crow Nest Junction mechanical box until 2013. 142012 is on a Wigan to Manchester service in this view looking west towards Wigan.
