Buxworth
The Harwich to Manchester Piccadilly boat train snakes through the site of Buxworth station, Derbyshire, on 21 September 1971 behind EE Type 3 No. 6712. The duty represented a definite improvement in the loco's fortunes following its transfer from Gateshead to Stratford the previous autumn see image 32737.
